Role Description

As a rapidly expanding and progressive business, we are looking for a Junior Planning Co-ordinator to support the Customer Service Team in ensuring projects run smoothly. The role involves liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in monitoring project progress. It’s an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to develop strong organisational, communication, and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and plans
  • Coordinate resources, personnel, and materials to meet project requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation
  • Support senior planners with administrative and operational tasks
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or delays

Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 30mins for lunch (40hrs per week)

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview stage)

The successful candidate would be subject to a 3-month probationary period.
